DEVINS FEILD TRIP

Devin was so excited that i was going on a feild trip with him. that morning he got dressed for school and was just so happyThis is all the kids arriving at the pod for there feild trip. He was so funny he ran over and gave me a big hug and kiss. I know that wont last so it was a sweet moment i wont forget.

This was a station on erosion the kids loved playing with dirt and water. yes all the kids where just alittle wet after this station.

This was the station i was at they got to pound on rocks to see the hardness of rocks. Devin loved pounding on rocks and even got one to break in half .

They did a class picture so i hurried and got one. Don't they all look like they feel so proud to be here? Well a few where not but for the most they loved it.

Then it was over and they boarded the bus. Devin wanted to come home with me (it was only 10:30) needless to say they made him go back to school (LOL). I will cherish these days. They just grow up to fast.

going from nerd to sociable

Last year shelby and all her friends would call austin a nerd because he would walk down the halls all by himslef and not really talk to anyone even if he was spoken to it was a short conversation then he was off to be by himslef again. This year all of the sudden he is being sociable he even wants to go hang out with his friends. he even asks if he can stay after school just to hang out. i am so glad there is hope for him. i was sad that shelby thought of him as a nerd i guess its true people can change.

ON A TRIP

I went with my dad to st. goerge last week on a revvnrg trip. we went to the college and brooke found this neat fountian to play in. boy did she love it. these cement blocks where around the fountian to sit on but she thought they where a stage for her to perform on. then jump off of.

She loved looking at the fountian and then she would look at me and laugh. What a funny girl.

When i finally made her get out she found a big rock to play on. She was so fun as she ran around and laughed.

MISSION ACCOPLISHED

So i have found out where to get maple chips. Yes it is one of the most amazing stores. Amazon who would of thought, But of course amazon has everything. Someone said you can even freeze syrup and do it that way. I guess being a mom makes me not think about these great things. Thank you all for your super ideas.

ON A MISSION

Ok so i am on a mission. Austin has requested that i make him some diffrent kind of pancakes using my sandwhich maker. I am on a mission to find maple chips. You know like they have in mcgriddles at mcdonalds. So if anyone can help me in this quest please leave a comment. HAIRSTYLE

So last night as i was awake i thought i would love to have some fun new hair do's for my girls. so i got on youtube and started watching some hair clips. It linked me to these cute sites girlydohairstyles.com, redpunzel.blogspot.com, shaunellshair.blogspot.com, and princesshairstyles.com. Shelby and I where on these sites tell 1:00 a.m. we loved all of them. this is one of the cute ones we found i just added abit to it. It just had the ribbon around her head and i put it up into a messy bun. I like to have brookes hair up even if she would rather her hair to just fly around.

hope you enjoyed her cute little hairdo. Katie made me do her hair almost just alike. She was so excited to see a new hairstyle for her hair. A big thanks to those who take the time to help those like me find new hiarstyles.

CAMP TIFIE

First of all a big thanks to suzie who fixed my blog so I can start blogging again!

Austin had his first week long scout camp this summer. Scott and corey where is leaders. scott was so excited! Austin was set on staying home. We told him it was paid for and he was going. If he wanted to never go back to anther one that was fine. Needles to say we will be paying for more scout camps. What a good experience for austin.

One of Austins favrite things was archery. He just got a new bow before this camp. So to learn how to use it was very exciting to him. Scott is going to take him hunting on the deer hunt he is so excited.

Then they did a ropes course this is just one station (the wall). They got paired up with anther ward because we had such a small ward I think they where with a ward from provo. I think that this was one of scotts favrite you should of seen him talking about it his eyes sparkled.

They got the spirit stick one of the days. Austin was so proud and scott was so proud of the boys. You have to love the picture you can tell they all loved camp.

When they came up with the idea of camp Tifie. they wanted it in memory of one of our brave fire fighters SPENCER KOYLE. One who died in the line of duty. Fighting one of the many fires (oak city).

On the last night they had parents night. I debated on wether to go or not. I am so blessed for going. Austin and Scott showed me around the camp and you could see the sparkle in there eyes. As they talked about all the diffrent things they had accomplished that week. Then they did this slide show to show all the parents what the boys had done for the week. Scott had so many pictures I couldn't put even a fourth of them up i will be putting some more in my slide show be looking for them. A BIG THANKS TO COREY AND SCOTT FOR THE GREAT LEADERSHIP THEY SHOWED TO THE BOYS!!!

Flowell Ward Sandhill Party

so yesterday was the ward sandhill party as you can tell we did not make it to the sandhill it was much to windy. so we had it at the chruch instead the kids loved going austin played basketball out with all the boys tell i made him come in to eat. at the end they did a pinata. which devin was not going to do because he did not want to wear the blind fold While austin was waiting his turn i tried to get a picture of him he kept
hiding from me so this was the best i could get. devin finally did go hit the pinata because they decided not to make him wear the blindfold.

after devin hit the pinata he was very worried about who was going to hit who. we had some pretty rough hitters.

this is Isaac hitting the pinata he was so happy he was one of the first to hit it then he happily sat back and watched tell it was riped apart. Fun was had by all. We where all abit disapointed that we had it at the chruch. There will always be next year.

This is a picture of Brooklynn about a half hour before her surgery to remover her adenoids and put new tubes in her ears. They had just given her the medication that makes them forget and act drunk....obviously she would make a happy drunk.
